I don't know where to start....it almost felt like we were on candid camera. This hotel looked war torn, dirty, decrepid and like it had not been touched since 1940. The furniture was falling apart and I did not even feel comfortable using the restroom, as the toilet did not look like it had been cleaned. If we had to stay more than one night i would have been out of there pronto, but it was a holdover to get back to the airport. The only bonus is that it literally sits on the beach, but don't expect to get any reading or napping done, since not more than 30 seconds would go by without a vendor trying to sell us something. They would not leave unless you acknowledged them. The photos on the website are NOTHING like the hotel. Interestingly, when I shared this story with my sister, she started laughing as she had stayed there over 15 years ago (I did not know at the time) and said the hotel sounded exactly the same....it was pretty beaten up then and still is.
