I'd spent hours on the internet searching for a London hotel, and found through Travelocity, a great special (including breakfast) at the Waldorf Hilton. The hotel is in Covent Garden in a historic building; the beautiful Palm Court holds an afternoon tea dance on Sundays. The breakfast was fabulous (the staff is fantastic) and held in a large and airy dining room. The hotel has every amenity and the room was spectacular; very modern with all the conveniences for weary tourist. The front desk staff and concierge is extremely friendly, efficient and helpful. Buses stop in front of the hotel, the Tube is only a couple blocks away, and there is always a taxi waiting to whisk you away to your next adventure.
