The Melia location was nice. You could walk right out of the property and catch a bus to get to many local attractions. The staff was helpful when we needed directions on how to get to various places using the local bus lines. The Melia offers a lot of activities. They have the usual pool games and evening entertainment. They also have a small beach on site. To our surprise the Melia offered archery and a chance to shoot a rifle. This was fun and they gave you one on one instructions. There is a free pond area with giant koi fish and real iguanas you can meet up close & personal, which is fun for adults and for kids. The staff was great. We had got a shirt from our favorite taco place Pepe's and it turned out to be the wrong size. The person at the front desk called Pepe's for us to make sure they were open so we could exchange the shirt. All in all the Melia offered a lot of options and we had a great vacation.
