We spent 7 nights here and never were bored. It definitely was the place to go for rest and recuperation. The pool is large but the beach-front veranda was our favorite spot. We could look out at the ocean and across the waters to town. Even though we were without children, it was nice to have them scampering around and while they were definitely part of the "entertainment" we didn't feel they took anything away from our stay. We are not gourmets but do enjoy good food and we always found that in abundance. We felt there was always a good healthy choice available. The Italian restaurant (reservations needed) was a very nice change but although we could have gone a second time we opted for French buffet that night. Drinks were plentiful when we wanted them and we were impressed with all the top shelf items available. The grounds are lovely and so nice to stroll around at any time of the day or night. The iguanas are not to be missed nor are the Koi. Our room had a balcony and the view was spectacular. We had no complaints about cleanliness. The staff on the whole were very, very accommodating and we enjoyed seeing their smiling faces as they went about their work. It's an easy stroll over to the Marina area and well-paved walks also make it easy to just stroll past other hotels and condos. Taxi rides into town were inexpensive and very easy and safe to use. The only, and I repeat, only downside was the time-share person. She did wear us down and we did succumb to a much too long presentation. Even with a discount on massages, it wasn't worth our time. We would stay again at this hotel and would highly recommend it. Just say no to the time-share person.
