I truly enjoyed my stay at The Roosevelt Hotel. I am always a bit leary of a good bargain but I was pleasantly surprised at how classy the lobby looked and how clean the place was. My flight was delayed and I didn't arrive at the hotel until two in the morning. The staff was so nice and helpful and the bellhop even refused my tip! The room was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. When I awoke the next morning, I walked a few blocks to Pikes Market and had a delicious crab omelette and did some shopping. Then it was back to the hotel to freshen up before my meeting at the Washington Convention Center. The hotel is only a half a block from the Center so it is a great place to stay if you are in Seattle for a convention. There are plenty of restaurants in the area to choose from for lunch and dinner. I went to a Thai restaurant for lunch and a Korean Barbecue for dinner. Both were within walking distance of the hotel. Next time I travel to Seattle, I will definetely stay at the Roosevelt, booking my room through Travelocity of course!
