Westin on Market is a Westin, so all the good things about that chain are there - wonderful bed, luxurious toiletries and linens, and very quick and professional service. This particular hotel is in a very convenient location in downtown SF, so you are <5 min walking distance from almost all starting points for fun tourist things to do in town, and all the public transportation options. We stayed at a "deluxe" room - well worth it - if only for the view from the floor to ceiling plate glass windows ("deluxe" rooms are above the 8th floor and away from elevator shafts). The only quibble may be that the bathrooms are a little tight with the door almost hitting the tub when fully opened. Also, valet parking is very convenient, but expensive at almost $* a day. For $* a day you can park in a public parking garage right behind the building.
