Hilton Grand Vacations Club

A confession. I am retiring and getting out of time share ownership. Working on a temporary assignment in Los Angeles and having a week to burn off, I figured it was time to see what all the clamber was about. It was worth the drive.
If you want to spend a week on the fabulous Las Vegas strip, this is the place. Ouch, is this comfortable. And there’s swank to spare. Where to start.
With the drive up. Unload your car in front of the glass lobby doors and amble up to the marble reception counter. The experience recalls Eddy Murphy in "Beverly Hills Cop."
Check out the rooms. Very nice. Kitchen with appliances better than I have back home in North Dallas. Large comfortable bed room and a decidedly upscale bath. The combined living and dining area is spacious and well appointed. Too bad we didn’t come to spend all our time in the hotel.
What can you say. It’s Hilton all the way. The photos tell the story better.
The location is ideal, as well. The Hilton is at the north end of The Strip, not actually in the city of Las Vegas. All the attractions are just a stroll away. The Riviera and Circus Circus are nearby. Everything else is involves leg work (three miles each way) or a tram ride. Get your work out and return to the comfort of the Hilton.

After my first night of visiting HGVC on the Las Vegas Strip I bought a deed for a 3 bedroom Penthouse Suite. I've taken others there, who are used to staying at the finiest and they canceled their $400/night room at the Mandalay Bay, which I've stayed at and doesn't compare. Not only did they choose to stay at the Hilton, but they bought their own timeshare. there is no casino, but there is a pool table, giant T.V. and fooseball in the guestroom. Not to mention the large gym, two huge swimming pools and much much more. The rooms are the very best!

nothing to brag about

This hotel wasn't as great as I thougt it was going to be due to previous reviews. Maybe I had my hopes too high. We literally waited more than 1.5 hours to get our room. Maybe it would be worth it if you could spend $400.00 a night for a room, then maybe the staff would treat you differently. I will never stay there again.

Good value

Rooms are small but clean and updated. There is a nice game room with pool table and more. Good Value for Vegas.

Nice Getaway Spot

While we didn't spend a great deal of time at the hotel (being in Vegas and all), we found it to be a really wonderful place to come back to and rest. The room wasquiet, very nicely decorated and clean, the bed was really comfortable, and the staff was incredibly helpful and pleasant. We really appreciated the market on the first floor because it had a little bit of everything and it was open late which was great after walking all over the strip! The only travel tip I can add for staying here is that remember if you are planning to walk from MGM back to this Hilton, it's further down that it looks! (I highly recommend the Deuce instead!)
